Peer Review Policy
Bharat International follows a double-blind peer review process: reviewers do not know who the authors are, and authors do not know who reviewed their paper.
Review Process
- A board member screens each paper for scope, originality, format and plagiarism.
- Papers that pass screening are sent to at least two reviewers with expertise in the subject.
- Reviewers assess originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, references and contribution to knowledge.
- Each reviewer recommends: accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.
- The board makes the final decision based on the reviews and informs the author by email.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Review only papers within their expertise and decline when there is a conflict of interest.
- Keep manuscripts confidential and never use their content for personal benefit.
- Give objective, constructive and timely feedback, normally within 7 days.
- Report any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication or data fabrication.
Timelines
Most authors receive a first decision within 7 to 15 days. Revised papers are usually re-checked within 7 days.
Appeals
Authors who disagree with a decision may appeal once by email to bharatijhk@gmail.com, explaining their reasons. The appeal is considered by a board member who was not involved in the original decision.
