Publication Ethics

Bharat International is committed to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

• Submit only original work, and cite all sources properly.
• Do not submit the same paper to more than one journal at a time.
• List as authors only those who contributed significantly; acknowledge others.
• Disclose any conflict of interest and the sources of funding.
• Report data honestly; do not fabricate, falsify or manipulate results.
• Inform the journal promptly if you find a significant error in your published paper.

Duties of the Board and Editors

• Judge papers only on their academic merit, regardless of the authors' identity, gender, religion, nationality or institution.
• Keep submitted papers confidential.
• Avoid handling papers where they have a conflict of interest.
• Investigate complaints of misconduct fairly and take appropriate action.

Duties of Reviewers

• Review objectively and confidentially, and give reasons for their comments.
• Declare conflicts of interest and decline where they exist.
• Alert the board to any substantial similarity with other published work.

Handling Misconduct

Suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or authorship disputes are investigated following COPE guidance. Depending on the outcome, the journal may reject the paper, publish a correction, retract a published paper, or inform the author's institution.
